Return Policy
Special order merchandise not cancellable. Special order merchandise is merchandise not held on our floor and being specially ordered from the manufacturer. Special order merchandise held over 30 days must be paid in full. Stock merchandise orders put into work or lay-away not cancellable. Minimum 25% restocking and labor charge will apply to broken contracts. Regular stock (non-clearance floor items) may be exchanged within 10 days toward other merchandise or store credit if in new condition. Restocking and delivery charges may apply on merchandise exchanges. Harris Family Furniture does not offer a comfort guarantee.


Online Transactions
All orders are final after 24 hours; no cancellations. A representative will attempt to contact you to confirm your order information before placing your order for finalization. Once we finalize your order with the manufacturer, it cannot be cancelled or changed since the order has already been processed. You will be notified when your order is ready. When your purchase has been completed, the manufacturer with ship the item(s) to us. We then go through a three-step inspection process to ensure that your purchase is in great condition. We will then call you when all of these steps have been completed to schedule a delivery time that works for you, or inform you that your order is ready for pick up at the location you selected.


Delivery Policy & Guidelines
Special order merchandise takes an average of 8 weeks to arrive. Hundreds of variables go into producing and shipping your order. Please keep in mind that it is not uncommon for the actual delivery time to vary from this estimate. We will call you as soon as your merchandise arrives. Harris Family Furniture offers a professional delivery service to our customers. This service is, in most cases, free of charge in our general trading area. Although every effort will be made to deliver your furniture trouble-free and on time, circumstances could occur which would cause us to postpone or reschedule your delivery.


Please be sure to take the following precautions before our arrival to ensure a smooth delivery and avoid subsequent charges:

1. Safety

Be sure driveways, pathways, and walkways are clear of snow, ice, and other debris. If there is a chance our delivery personnel could be endangered in any way, they are not to complete the delivery. 

2. Make Sure It Will Fit 

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure furniture will fit. If you are not sure, measure the space, including doorways of hallways, and contact your sales person prior to placing your order. 

3. Be There

It is the customer’s responsibility to be present and alert during the delivery. We give an approximate time window that works for your schedule that your delivery will take place between so you don’t have to wait around all day.

4. Removals

Arrangements must be made with your sales person or the warehouse manager prior to delivery if furniture is to be removed from the premises. Any furniture or bedding that is not considered sanitary will not be taken. If you have paid a removal fee, this will be refunded to you. Our delivery personnel are not expected to rearrange the customer’s furnishings to make the room ready for a delivery, unless prior arrangements have been made.

5. Property Damage

Our delivery personnel will make every effort not to damage walls or floors. Occasionally this cannot be avoided because of the complexities of a delivery. Please remove pictures, lamps, and all fragile pieces away from the delivery area so nothing gets damaged. We will not be held responsible for damage of this type if this situation occurs.

6. Pets & Children

Please keep small children away from the delivery area for safety and keep all animals secured in an area away from where our personnel will be working. 

7. Cover Your Carpets

If you are worried about your carpets getting wet or dirty, please use pads, blankets, or resin paper to minimize unwanted marks on your floors or carpet. Our delivery personnel will not remove their footwear.


Financing will charge 1.5 per month (APR 18%) to all accounts after 30 days (this is not applicable to online sales). Furthermore, buyers shall be liable for all costs of collections, including reasonable attorney’s fees and grants Harris Family Furniture a security interest in the subject of articles of this contract for all sums owed Harris Family Furniture arising hereunder. There is no online financing. If you would like financing for a purchase, please come into our store to fill out the application with two forms of ID including a valid license for processing.
